Update 1: Greater control over workflows and database recovery

Making mistakes is human, but in a CRM environment, the consequences can be significant. HubSpot has rolled out an important update that gives HubSpot Admins and Marketing Managers greater peace of mind: the ability to roll back workflows directly to a previous version and advanced filters for restoring deleted contacts.

Update 2: Upgraded Social Analytics: Faster ROI substantiation

In the past, analyzing social media performance often felt like sifting through complex and disjointed data. HubSpot has completely revamped the Social Analyze Tab to help marketers demonstrate the value of their efforts more quickly.

Why this is important
Instead of compiling reports yourself, you now have instant access to ready-made dashboards that focus on the four pillars of social success: brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and content optimization. This makes it easier to prove how social media actually contributes to the sales pipeline.

How it works

The team model in HubSpot has been simplified and now consists of two parts:

  • Teams: Users can be members of multiple teams, all with full functionality. All team members are included in workflows, Help Desk routing, and meeting round robins.

  • Default Team: Each account retains one Default Team per user. This team determines personal settings such as record views, notifications, and the default homepage.

How it works

The updated Analyze Tab within the Social tool offers four new categories of reports:

  • Grow your brand: Insight into follower growth, impressions, reach, and sentiment.

  • Drive engagement: Detailed measurements of likes, comments, shares, and video engagement.

  • Track leads from social: This report links social media directly to your conversions, attribution, and deals.

  • Optimize your content: Analyzes which type of media, time of day, and style perform best for future strategies.

Important limitation: Historical data in this new view is available from July 1, 2025 (or the date your account was linked). For older data, you can temporarily switch back to the old view.

Update 3: Record videos directly within HubSpot

Sales and marketing teams often waste time switching between external recording tools, downloading files, and then uploading them back into HubSpot. With the new Video Capture feature, this process is now fully integrated.

Why this is important
Lowering the barrier to video creation makes it easier to use video throughout the buyer journey. Think personalized sales videos for prospects, quick product demos, or instructional videos for customer onboarding. Because everything stays within HubSpot, it's safer for sensitive business information and saves storage space on local devices.

How it works

You can find the recording feature under Content -> Video. Click the ‘Add videos’ button and select ‘Record video’. The tool is also directly accessible from the video picker when you post content on website pages or social media.

Recording options: Choose to use only your webcam, only your screen (tab, window, or entire desktop), or a combination where your webcam appears as an overlay on your screen recording.
Flexibility: You can manage audio settings, pause recordings, and save the final video directly to your HubSpot video library for reuse in other campaigns.

Update 4: Customizable Extended Sidebar for the Customer Success Workspace

For Customer Success teams, speed is essential. Constantly switching between overview pages and individual record pages to find context causes unnecessary time loss and a fragmented workflow.

Why this is important
The standard side panels in HubSpot often did not provide the specific information that a CS professional needs at that moment. With the introduction of a persistent and fully customizable sidebar, you now have all relevant customer context and action buttons right at your fingertips in the Customer Success Workspace. This significantly reduces the need to click through to record pages.

How it works

In the Customers, Services, or Revenue tabs within the CS Workspace, click on the name of an object in the table. This will open the expanded preview on the right.

Tabs and cards: The sidebar contains multiple tabs with configurable cards, such as Health Scores, Activities, Deals, and Tickets.

Management and customization: Admins can add, remove, rename, or reorder these cards and tabs using the layout editor. These changes are specific to the CS Workspace, so other views in the CRM are not affected.

Update 5: Smarter and faster segmentation with real-time insights

In addition to the new recovery features, HubSpot has also fundamentally improved the way we build lists and segments. No more guessing why a list remains “empty” or how many people you can actually email.

Instant insight into your reach: “Emailable Contacts” in Segments

It's a familiar frustration: you build a wonderful segment of 1,000 contacts, but when you send your campaign, it turns out that you can only reach 600 of them.

What's new? You can now see directly within the segmentation tool how many contacts in your segment are actually mailable. In the “Performance” tab or via the “Use in” button, you can see not only the number, but also the percentage of the list that you can reach. Why this makes a difference. HubSpot looks directly at critical factors such as:

  • Is it a marketing contact?

  • Is there a valid email address?

  • Does the contact have a hard bounce or unsubscribe status?

This allows you to see immediately whether your segmentation is effective before you even start designing your email.

Granular Filter Insights: See the impact of each step

Building complex segments with ‘AND/OR’ logic often felt like a black box. You added filters, saved the list, and hoped the result was correct.

What's new? With Granular Filter Insights, you get real-time feedback as you build. Once you enable the “Test Matches” feature, you'll see for each filter step:

How many records match at that specific point.
Which filters increase your target audience or, conversely, reduce it significantly.
Warnings for filters that yield ‘0 matches’, so you can spot logical errors immediately.

The benefit for marketers: You no longer have to wait until a list has been processed to see if your logic works. You can immediately see where you're missing the mark or where your segment is too narrow. This saves time and prevents errors in your targeting

Update 6: TikTok integration: Manage your entire social presence from HubSpot

TikTok has become an indispensable channel for brand awareness and reaching new audiences. To streamline the workflow of social media managers, HubSpot has now launched full integration with TikTok.

Why is this important?
Instead of manually uploading videos via the TikTok app, you can now manage your organic TikTok strategy in the same place as your other social channels. This ensures a consistent content calendar and allows you to directly compare TikTok's performance with channels such as LinkedIn and Instagram.

How it works

Once you connect your TikTok account to HubSpot, you'll have access to three core features:

  • Publish: Upload videos from your HubSpot video library, schedule them, or send them to a colleague for approval.

  • Interaction: Receive notifications of comments and @mentions directly in the Social Reply inbox and respond to them from there. You can link social profiles directly to CRM contacts.

  • Analysis: Measure the performance of your videos and your account growth. Use this data to compare your TikTok strategy with other networks.

Update 7: CRM-context without clicks with the Inline Association Table

Navigating between different objects in HubSpot (for example, from a Contact to a Deal) takes time. Every click is an interruption to your workflow. With the introduction of the Inline Association Table, HubSpot brings that context directly to your overview page.

Why this is important
Previously, you had to open a specific record to see what was happening on associated objects. Questions such as “Which of these contacts have a deal closing next month?” or “Which company in this list has open support tickets?” required manual clicks or complex filters.

This update eliminates that “search-and-click” fatigue. You get cross-object insights right where you already work: the index page. This speeds up decision-making and increases the operational velocity of sales and service teams.

How does it work?

On every CRM index page (e.g., the Contacts or Companies overview), you will now see a small arrow (caret) next to the record name.

  • Expand: Click on the arrow to open the association table directly below the record.

  • Object selection: Select which associated object you want to see (e.g., Deals, Tickets, or Companies).

  • Direct action: You can customize columns, search within the associations, and even perform bulk actions without leaving the page.

Update 8: Visual Search in the Video Library

Finding that one specific clip in hours of video storage used to be a time-consuming task. You had to rely on titles or transcripts, which meant that purely visual moments remained untraceable.

Why is this important?
Marketers often waste hours manually searching through raw footage or webinar recordings. With Visual Search, you can now simply describe what is visible in the image (e.g., “person wearing a red cap” or “graph on screen”). This makes repurposing existing content much faster and prevents you from having to re-record images that you already have.

How it works

To use this feature, the “Files data” setting must be enabled in your AI settings.

  • Go to Content -> Video.

  • Use the search bar and select “Video content” from the dropdown menu on the right.

  • Type in your visual search query. HubSpot analyzes the images with AI and displays the relevant results.

  • Click on a result to immediately view the exact fragment and cut it for use.

Update 9: Synchronization of recurring meetings

Keeping track of periodic client meetings or internal progress meetings in the CRM used to be a manual challenge. HubSpot often only synchronized the first appointment in a series, leaving the rest of the data in your calendar and not appearing in your CRM timeline.

Why is this important?

Keeping track of periodic client meetings or internal progress meetings in the CRM used to be a manual challenge. HubSpot often only synchronized the first appointment in a series, leaving the rest of the data in your calendar and not appearing in your CRM timeline.

How it works

Zodra je kalender is gekoppeld (via Settings > General > Calendar), herkent HubSpot automatisch terugkerende series.

  • Smart synchronization: To keep your CRM overviews clear, HubSpot does not synchronize the entire series indefinitely, but only the next 5 appointments (up to a maximum of one year in advance). As time passes, new sessions are added automatically.

  • Location: Appointments are visible on CRM records, the Meetings index page, and in the Sales or Customer Success Workspaces.

  • Please note: You still create recurring appointments in your own calendar (Outlook/Google), not directly in HubSpot.

Important for existing appointments:

Only new series are automatically synchronized. Want to get an existing series into HubSpot? Edit one appointment in your calendar and select ‘update all appointments’. This triggers a one-time synchronization to HubSpot.

Update 10: Brand support in Invoices, Payment Links, and Subscriptions

For companies that manage multiple brands from a single HubSpot portal, it has been challenging to implement the correct brand identity in the payment process. With the integration of Brand Kits in Commerce Hub, you can now ensure a consistent customer experience from marketing to payment.

Why is this important?
Nothing is more confusing for a customer than receiving an invoice or payment link with a logo or color scheme that doesn't match the brand they just purchased from. By assigning specific brands to transactions, you avoid confusion, increase trust, and exude professionalism throughout the buyer journey.

How it works

When you create an invoice, payment link, or subscription, you can now select a specific brand from your Brands add-on.

  • Automatic transfer: Logos, colors, and fonts are transferred directly from the selected Brand Kit.

  • Full experience: Not only the payment page, but also the thank you page and automatic transaction emails are sent in the style of the chosen brand.

  • Overview: In the index pages of invoices and subscriptions, you can now add columns to quickly see which brand is linked to which transaction.
