How do you analyze a sent marketing email?

After sending marketing emails, you can easily analyze the emails performance in HubSpot.

To analyze an email, navigate to marketing > email. You then click on a sent email of your choice and you will arrive at the performance overview.

The performance overview summarizes how connected the recipients of the mail are/were. The overview consists of the following:

  • Open rate: The percentage of people who opened the email. The open rate is not counted until the images are loaded into the email.

  • Click rate: The percentage of people who clicked on a link relative to the people who received the email.

  • Click-through rate: The percentage of people who clicked on a link relative to the number of people who opened the email.

  • Deliverability results: An overview of all successful episodes, bounces, unsubscribes and SPAM reports.

In addition, it is also possible to see which contact is most engaged with the sent email.

Within the recipients overview you can view at a glance how many emails have been opened, who clicked through them and who unsubscribed.
